Sho’Nuff Passes On?

Mediatakeout.com is reporting that Julius J. Carry III, the predominantly television actor behind the classic role of “Sho’Nuff The Shogun of Harlem” in The Last Dragon, has passed on. His Wikipedia entry states that the rumors are saying Pancreatic Cancer is the culprit.

This may be (and hopefully is) an unconfirmed rumor, as there are very little in the way of details out there. Superdave sent me the TMZ link, which linked to the Media Takeout article, at which point all details stop. I’ll be keeping an eye for more. If it’s true, it’s a sad fucking day. I am not alone when I say that Sho’Nuff was one the biggest movie icons of my childhood.
