Meet Tom Russo. Creepy looking and eccentric, there’s something not quite right about him. Dangerous even. When Tom suddenly convinces himself that his wife Leeza is sleeping around, it pushes him over the edge into full blown, delusional madness. All-too real images of Leeza having sex with other men ‘play’ in Tom’s diseased and tortured mind as he hunts down and sadistically murder’s each one suspected of nailing her. Knives, chainsaws, and lawnmowers leave a trail of severed heads and splattered entrails in his grisly wake, and no one is safe from the psycho’s killing spree.

There are no suprises here. You get exactly what the title says you are going to get: a killing spree. And a damn entertaining one at that. Don’t get it twisted, this is as cheesy and b-rate as a movie can get. Shot on video in the eighties and featuring acting that at times makes the viewer cringe, the movie nonetheless transcends all that and becomes an exercise in how to make a backyard gorefest. If they were all as well done as this the genre would probably be a bit more respected. But few no budget filmmaker’s seem to put as much love into their projects as Tim Ritter, and it shows here.

The real point of the movie is to come up with goofy ways for the insane looking Asbestos Felt to dispatch a variety of people, and for them to come back as zombies and for there to be more death. The difference between this and your normal gore flick is that the gore in this is actually REALLY good. And while the script is awful, it does a good job of setting up the death scenes, which are frequent and as good as they are inventive (for example: a ceiling fan with machete blades). I highly recommend this to b-rate and gore fans alike, because it’s a hidden gem those fans will eat up.

This movie is terrible! It’s horrendous. I wonder what made you give the four, instead of five beers you mentioned. Could it have been that this movie was horrible?!?! It WAS mighty damn funny though
Much better than that Chainsaw Sally buy!

Justin, you will friggin love this. Killing Spree > The Janitor
Killing Spree was awsome back in the day. I would have to watch it again to see if it holds true since i’m not 15 anymore.
It’s just as funny. They had a trailer on the DVD for movie called “Video Violence” that looks just as good.
Might have to check it out then, The Janitor is my shit
Hook me up I’m trying to watch.
“You screw my wife I screw drive your head”
This film was tight in that awful b-rate kind of way, I expected a lot more gore though.
