Oh, sure, pick on the Democratic governors. What about all those people Arnold Schwarzenegger mercilessly mowed down before being crushed by a hydraulic press?

  1. Fucking Mummy should’ve beat it.

I like that Step Brother’s is quietly making some dough though.

  2. Something is wrong with the Step Brothers figure it only opened with 30 some million so how can an extra 16 bring it up to 62, and no way the Mummy should have beaten it. Dark Knight isn’t gonna break Titanic’s record but it’ll take the #2 spot easy.

Still for those who want to talk but so much shit, if you are talking in terms of pure ticket sales and not money (tickets cost a lot more now) than Batman would have to make roughly 900 million to beat Titanic

I see Dark Knight falling next week, just because I think it’s losing it’s steam now.

  3. I just read that on MSN about the ticket sales to titanic. Anyways, don’t forget movies make money during the week, here is the daily breakdown for stepbrothers:

  4. spiderman holds the #1 spot domestic–

and it’s close to losing it–

worldwide market is titanic, and that fucking movie should have never made so much money– it did cause i believe it was left in the thearter longer than necessary– they added 3 months on top of the 3 months it was already in thearters.

  5. Black, you are on mushrooms. Titanic made 600 million domestic and Spiderman made 400.

Just in case you don’t believe me: http://www.boxofficemojo.com/alltime/domestic.htm

Justin, I agree. Too many other movies out that people want to see. Plus Pineapple Express and Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants 2 open on Wednesday. And Black, before you start making fun of it, the first “Sisterhood” made $42 million and all of the actresses were no names. Now it has star power. And Seth Rogan has a tendency to make money.
