Ami is your average high school girl who lives alone with her younger brother after their parents committed suicide due to the shame of being accused murderers. Just as life seems to be returning to normal for the siblings Ami’s brother and his friend are killed by a gang of bullies led by the young son of a Yakuza leader. Vowing revenge she seeks out to kill everybody who had anything to do with the murders and anyone who stands in her way. Losing her arm doesn’t stop her it just makes her crave revenge even more and with the help of the parents of her brother’s friend she replaces her arm with a machine gun.
This is without a doubt the most fun I’ve had watching a movie since Grindhouse, the plot is over the top and never attempts to take itself serious even for one moment. Every second of this film is drenched in blood and gore, gore that punctuates the cheesy fun of the film perfectly. I’d describe this film as a cross between the old school up all night flicks and an action version of Dead Alive with even more blood.
The only negative about the entire film would be the fact that after all the action of the credits the movie hits a wall of about 15 minutes of downtime before gearing back up for more ridiculous and over the top action. Sure it’s a small window but when you feature several kills in your opening credits you really are setting the bar kind of high and can’t follow-up with any downtime.
Still this movie is beyond fun and really needs to be seen to be believed. Do yourself a favor and watch the over dubbed version rather than the sub-titled version, the overly dramatic over dubs really add to the fun.

Dude, I’m going to watch this this weekend, I’ll hook you up with some screen shots.
i need to borrow or buy this from someone and doc have you seen Azumi? great action flick on the same kind of scale i think but whats better is to watch with the dub over in english on and the english subs so you get the crazy contrast of what the voice over actors are changing and the actual translation its really rather funny but please direct me to a copy i think this is right up my alley
You could always click the pic and get it at the TMB store for the low low price of 12.99
your worse than insurance sales men self promoting pig fuckers
This film was super cheesy, and very over the top I think thats what I liked the most about it. Not to mention the excessive blood and the red adidas suit wearing ninjas. Not only did Ami have a machine gun arm, this film had some other hard-wear as well like a drill. You should really watch this film, I can’t believe I put it off so long, great review Monk.
thats the same price as wall-mart
