Dr. Feelgood is one of the best Rock N’ Roll albums of all time, it was released in 1989 and held its popularity through the mid 90’s. Motley Crue has made many attempts to match the sound and chemistry of the album but has yet to do so. This album was proof that the band had found their sound and their place in rock N’ Roll history. They where in their prime, the band all got along and the drugs where steady flowing and the result of that was in fact Dr. Feelgood.

The album had many hit singles, including the title track Dr. Feelgood which is probally their biggest hit. the cocaine anthem took the strip clubs to whole never level. “Kickstart My Heart” is the ultimate adrenaline rush I agree with every word of the song “Years gone by I’d say we kicked some ass” and yes they did. Lets not forget the ever so popular power ballad “Without You” which is one of the greatest love songs of all time. S.O.S. is a great arena rock song that forces you to chant along with the chorus.

My personal favorite track on the album is “Girl Don’t Go Away Mad(Just Go Away) I love the lyrics and how Vince Neil’s Voice sounds, great fucking song man. Now lets talk about the songs that weren’t radio friendly or hit singles. “Slice of Your Pie”, “Sticky Sweet”, “Rattlesnake Shake” and “She goes Down” are all sex songs. Motley Crue reminds you that you can’t have the drugs and rock n’ roll without the sex. This band is all about getting fucked up and getting laid. This is a great album, I sing along with every song when I hear it and rock it like I always have. When this CD gets turned on, so does the crowd.
