Take My Heart But If You Mess With My Balls It’s Your Ass

Spoiler TV has landed some new information about the upcoming “Crank” sequel with Jason Statham returning. In the original, Chev Chelios had to keep his adrenaline up in order to stop a poison from reaching his hear.

Now in the sequel, and in spite of having fallen a mile from a helicopter, Chelios faces a Chinese mobster who has stolen his nearly indestructible heart. The gangster has replaced it with a battery-powered ticker that requires regular jolts of electricity to keep working.

We’ll also see a pre-teen Chev in a flashback to 1988 that takes place on a Jerry Springer-ish UK talk show. Amongst the new characters this time around are a stripper named Peper, an elderly Triad leader named Hu Dong who receives Chev’s heart, and an elderly lady who Chev has to rub off against to get a static electrical charge.

One scene will see two Chinese doctors, who replace Chev’s heart with an artificial one, about to harvest his testicles before Chev wakes up and lays the smackdown.

Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor helm the project, with shooting to begin April 28th in Los Angeles.
