Alright so I don’t really get why they would put some movies on regular cable t.v.. Perfect example I came home from work and I didn’t feel well so I laid on the couch and turned on the t.v., I’m not sure what channel it was on but they where playing Basic Instinct, the 1992 film starring Michael Douglas and Sharon Stone and it was edited for t.v. cut all to shit.

I expected this from a non pay channel but it still raised the question of why they would bother, I don’t know if you have ever seen this movie or not, but every other word in the film is FUCK, and 25 minutes of the movie Sharon Stone is naked. Now if you are going to cut out every thing that made the movie what it is why even play it?

This got me thinking about Jerry Springer, I hate that show, I think it should be on HBO. Every word gets bleeped out and girls from the crowd get on poles and dance and we can’t even see them.(unless you get the too hot for t.v. on pay per view) which isn’t that good anyway it’s definitely not worth the $7.00. It’s pointless. If they played a movie like Hostel on t.v. and cut out the nudity and the “F” word the film would be on for 30 minutes. Come on people if we wanted to see a film like this bad enough we would rent it. You just can’t enjoy a movie like this without viewing it in it’s entirety.

Like Showgirls, who would want to watch showgirls a movie about strippers without seeing the stripping. It aint for Elizabeth Berkley’s acting abilities I’ll tell you that. So this post is for anyone dumb enough to watch these movies on t.v. and didn’t get to see the good stuff, I’m here to let you know that The Bar understands, and wants to help.
